Vi Agroforestry’s Kenya Country office seeks to procure consultancy services to support in in the development & implementation of a training program under IAAF project. The training focus is on improving smallholder farmers’ knowledge in value chain development and promotion.
The objective of the consultancy is to develop and implement a short training program on value chain analysis and development. The training targets farmer’s organisations and is geared towards providing a foundation for farmers building their knowledge on managing different chains, pursuing appropriate linkages regarding value chain financing and developing products relevant to the market demands . It will also involve building organisational capabilities of small scale farmers to make effective and informed agribusiness decisions. It is from this perspective that Vi Agroforestry is seeking for services of a consultant(s) to develop training content and carry out this training. The training targets farmers’ organisations in Kisumu and Trans Nzoia Counties, who are involved in sorghum and maize value chains.
Submission of bids should be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org The technical proposal and budget should reach Vi Agroforestry on or before 24th March 2017.
