The webinar will provide participants with an overview of the carbon project lifecycle, helping them understand where risks, challenges, and key decisions typically arise – especially in AFOLU contexts where many development programmes operate and where carbon component integration could be an option.
The session introduces a simple, hands-on screening tool developed by Vi Agroforestry, supported by concrete examples. Together, these equips participants to ask the right questions early on and to navigate potential carbon initiatives in a more informed and critical way to ensure high integrity of such initiatives.
In this webinar, you will:
- Get a clear sense of how to approach carbon-related elements when they appear in programmes or proposals
- Strengthen your ability to judge whether an initiative aligns with high-integrity expectation
- Increase the capacity to determine whether (and how) a carbon component is relevant in your context
