This UNFSS+4 side event will spotlight the critical role of soil health in achieving sustainable, equitable, and resilient food systems. It will convene diverse stakeholders—from governments and scientists to youth and Indigenous Peoples—to co-create actionable recommendations and investment pathways.

As part of the SIANI and Vi Agroforestry Drylands East Africa Expert Group, we will contribute perspectives on agroforestry as a nature-based solution to restore degraded land, enhance biodiversity, and improve food security.
